As suggested by Marcia, this blog is devoted to family news. Roxie's (hopefully speedy) recovery is our first discussion.

For keeping track of extended Trunnell family members.
Sid and Josette, thanks for keeping us posted on Roxanne's progress. I am keeping Roxanne lifted in prayer. You both must be exhausted and so I am also praying for your continued strength through this journey. Marcia

ReplyDeleteSid and Josette, please let Roxane know we are praying for her continued improvement. Marcia
ReplyDeleteWell Roxie is doing well in Rehab. It was a wild ride. Felt like we were living a "Dr. House" episode, only the Doctors were nicer and they shaved, one limped but no cane.
ReplyDeleteThe long of it is, she had a very rare encephalitis that has never been documented in Adults. The final, in laymans terms: is Shingles within her cerebellum and extended into her brain. She is at rehab, will be there until she can help us move her and is able to eat and drink without choking.
We hope for a full recovery. I am sorry we were not very communicative through all this, but we really didn't know what to say or how to say it. Putting words to what were we living was not easy. This was the second time we went through this with her, and this was decidedly the worse. But she made it.
Hopefully she will home by christmas.
Sid and Josette
Even though we hadn't heard from you, we have had you in our continual thoughts and prayers. We will continue our prayers for strength and healing for all of you. Know that lots of love is surrounding you. Please let us know if there is anything more we can do - if it would be nice for us to come visit- or send anything - and if there is something we could send to Roxanne over this holiday season, what would that be? Love from Homedale, Rose, Steve and boys
